Not just any guys; guys like myself. Guys that knew nothing other than the friend zone. Guys that’d take a bullet for their friends, but never had anyone speak up for them while they were being made fun of. Guys that have held a girls purse or pocket book while they were in the changing room or just needed to free their hands. This is dedicated to the guys that sat there and listened to how poorly their girl-interest has been treated by another guy. Although you’ve advised for them to part because he was no good, she got back together with him and you had to endure another ventilation session and hear all the same things over and over only to hear ‘Thank you so much, you’re so sweet. You’ll make a great boyfriend for some lucky lady one day!’ at the end of it all. The guys that stood there and smiled as someone asked ‘Are you guys dating?’ and she swiftly replied ‘Never! We’re just best friends!’ and chuckled. This is to the guys that still open the car door, that still pulls out the chair for a lady, lets the ladies go first, and just all around believes in keeping chivalry, romance, and politeness alive. The guys that will not be embarrassed to hold a girls hand in public and in front of his friends. Guys that even had to pretend to be with her if it meant her avoiding being hit on by creeps, although it kills you inside. This is for you. This is for you, fellas. We’re the guys that get called names like ‘pussy’ or ‘gay’ because we know how to respect and treat women. I feel your pain guys, but know that I’ve been there with you. I know how you feel and we can work on showing them what we’re worth despite the fact that we may not be chiseled out of stone or resemble that guy from that band. All you great guys, know that if good guys truly finish last, I’ll be right there with you in last place. We will not sway from our ways even if it means winning more attention from her. Chin up.

Hey guys, this past week has been one of the hardest weeks in my life. Things just havent gone my way. I have felt like I was spiraling back into a depression. Last time I went through this I did not have God in my life. To me, God was just something I learned about in church, not a Father who loves me more than anything else in this world. Wednesday night at a little revival called “Awakening”, my eyes were really opened up, more then they ever have been! I loved it so much that I wanted to go back, sadly I could no. But today was a very hard day on me. Alot of things kept happening and nothing was going as planned. I didnt even get to go see my friends in Messengers and Darkest Before Dawn at their show. But I just prayed a little prayer, and my parents became the best! They took me out and I had a blast. The moral to the pointless story (to you) is that God is always there for you. You can be a drunken, bastard, homeless man who curses God everyday, yet he still loves you unconditionally. And a word to the wise to all you Christians out there.. My good friends Joshy Singer and his band mates in Author Creator made a very good point the other day. Christians are the reason that many people are Atheists today, not Jesus. We are scaring them by telling them that they are going to hell. If you are nice to them and loving to them, they will see that God is a powerful God! I love you guys and I want you to always remember that God loves you. He gave his only son to die for us. Why us? We are worthless. We dont deserve such a great thing for us. And i also want you to know that you can talk to any of these guys in this band about faith and God and we will be there for you and talk to you about what is going on.
